Me & Miss Lola Couture
Hello, I am Suzie and this is my fashion business, Miss Lola Couture. Right from an early age, I always had a dream to become a fashion designer. After graduating from Manchester University with a BA Hons in fashion design and technology, I began my 20 plus years working as a designer for a company which supplied the commercial stores including the high street fashion favourites TopShop, Miss Selfridge, New Look and Primark, to various European customers. I also worked in London briefly for a company who supplied retailers such as Next and Marks & Spencers.
After moving back to my home town, I created Miss Lola Couture. I offer a bespoke made-to-order dress making service, specialising in wedding, bridal party, prom, occasion wear and cocktail dresses.
Based in Wigan and covering surrounding areas, all work is carried out in my workshop. All garments are made traditionally with pattern construction and quality sourced fabrics and trims. I will guide and advise you through each process, from initial design concept & vision, fabric selection & silhouette suggestions, right through to the final fit.
